11 people injured in road mishap

Kathmandu- Eleven people were injured when a jeep carrying some employees of Tamankhola rural municipality met with road accident in Baglung.

The accident took place due to brake failure when the jeep was heading towards Baraha pond from Bongadovan bazaar.

Assistant Administrative Officer of Tamankhola rural municipality, Muna BK, 30, of Galkot municipality-1, Assistant Accountant Sudarshan Kusari, 32, of Bafikot rural municipality-6 in Rukum West, Office Assistant Sachin BK, 29, of Tamankhola rural municipality-2, Technical Assistant Nabin Malla, 23, of Chaurjahari municipality-13 in Rukum West, former Vice-Chairperson of the rural municipality, Mansari Sherchan, 52, of Tamankhola rural municipality, Indra Kumari Giri, 63, of the same place, Basanti Magar, 25, jeep driver Sushil Rasaili, among others were injured in the accident, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Baglung, Bijay Yadav.

Of the injured, condition of Assistant Administrative, BK, and Technical Assistant Malla is said to be critical. Both of them have been sent to Dhaulagiri Provincial Hospital, Baglung, for treatment while other injured people are undergoing treatment at Burtibang Hospital.
