Interact Club of New York Hosts Successful Spring Fun Day

New York- The Interact Club of New York, sponsored by the Rotary Club of New York Queens, recently organized a remarkable event, Spring Fun Day, bringing joy and engagement to children and families alike. The event was a resounding success, drawing numerous participants and leaving lasting memories for all attendees.

Interact Club’s President Aalash Bhatta and Vice President Chokey Lama introduced a creative and beautiful concept for the event. Their efforts, combined with meticulous planning, ensured a fun-filled day. The venue was transformed into a vibrant space, adorned with impressive decorations, creating an inviting atmosphere for everyone.

The day featured a variety of activities tailored for children, including face painting, craft sessions, exciting games such as musical chairs, and a quiz contest. Mothers enthusiastically joined in, adding their energy to the fun. Recognizing the importance of such gatherings, the event aimed to encourage children to step away from screens and embrace interactive and community-based activities.

Special thanks go to the parents who brought their children to participate, allowing them to engage in enriching and entertaining experiences. President Arbin Poudel dedicated significant effort to inviting and involving families, ensuring a diverse turnout. President-Elect Karma Lama and Past President Hansraj Joshi and Dawa Sherpa played pivotal roles in making the event successful. The Founder President, Nabaraj KC, also contributed greatly to the day’s triumph.

Adding an extra layer of enchantment to the occasion, Past President Kham Bhatta organized a magical performance by Mahadev Tripathi. The magician’s spellbinding acts captivated the audience, leaving both kids and adults in awe.

The event highlighted the importance of community-driven activities in fostering children’s development and encouraging meaningful interactions. It also served as an invitation for young people aged 12 to 18 to join the Interact Club, where they can engage in social service and leadership development opportunities.

Heartfelt gratitude goes out to all Rotarians who generously supported this event through donations, making such an impactful day possible. A special mention is extended to the enthusiastic Interact members and the dedicated students from Newtown High School for their invaluable contributions

Let’s continue to support and promote events like Spring Fun Day to nurture the next generation and help them grow into strong, community-oriented individuals. Together, we can make a difference!
